Nudist Beaches
Many people love the freedom that nudist beaches offer them. Rather than be constricted by clothing, they love the ability to visit the beach au natural. And, they enjoy the feeling that those who frequent the nudist beaches are likeminded people who view this as a lifestyle. Most are there not to gawk at nude bodies, but to simply enjoy the freedom of being nude and meet others who feel the same.
Many nudist beaches offer not only the beach, but also other services such as restaurants and spas. Most have outdoor activities such as tennis and volleyball. Some even have special events such as dances and holiday celebrations.
If you think you would like to visit a nude beach, but are a little apprehensive, do not worry. Many people feel that way on their first visit. They are not quite comfortable with being nude in public and not sure what to expect. If you call the beach, most times an employee of the beach will meet you (fully clothed) and give you a tour. They do not pressure you to remove your clothing, but allow you to get a feeling for the atmosphere. Once you feel comfortable, taking off your clothes should feel like the most natural thing to do.
Learning to be comfortable in your own skin at a nudist beach may take a couple of visits, but eventually, you will grow to love it as many others have.
